One person company is established by a single person. As per sec 2(62) of companies act 2013 a company can be formed with just 1 member and 1 director also the director and member can be the same person. So basically an OPC is a single member company by an Indian resident which has all the features of a company along-with the benefits of a sole proprietorship.
